Our water supply starts life as rainwater, stored in dams, and in some cases as sea water, purified by electrolysis in desalination plants.

It is distributed to our homes and businesses via electric pumping stations, stored in the distribution network in pipes which the electrical authorities may use as grounding for their wiring and then fed to the outlets we use in copper or plastic pipes, crossing multiple sets of electrical wiring along its journey.

The connection that is not commonly understood is that drinking water, and by default, humans, which are predominately, water based are highly conductive and will adsorb on electrical fields.
